Transaction Automation Processor (TAP)

TAP is a system designed to perform rules based processing and switching of payment transactions for atypical and typical electronic payments.  It is a distributed system, able to scale to meet the most demanding requirements for transaction processing.  The TAP system and software can be easily configured to accept and store data, authorize payment transactions using different rules and return unique sets of data and messages to a seller’s point-of-sale.  TAP has an easy to configure rules engine that provides an unlimited capability to provide transaction decisioning.  TAP can be used to authorize, switch and capture transactions, based on complex requirements and rules from a wide variety of sources such as credit card terminals, servers and its interactive voice response system (IVR).

ETrans

ETrans is a merchant, location, terminal, customer and cardholder management system and a system for payment processing. It contains queries/views, stored procedures, forms, reports, macros and modules designed to automate the entry and processing of payment data.  ETrans receives transactions from multiple sources, stores the transaction data in Electrum’s EBase databases and uses the data to process payments.

ETrans manages both the buyer and seller sides of the payment transactions.  ETrans is used as an interface into Electrum’s TAP OLTP system for updating cardholder status, customer transaction limits, and open-to-buys.  ETrans performs currency conversion from buyer’s to seller’s currency.  ETrans generates reports to merchants and customers showing transaction activity.  ETrans maintains a general ledger tracking and accounting for all transactions received and processed. ETrans is used to generate ACH formatted files for credits and debits to merchants and consumers and direct bill invoices for cardholder/customers and reports and statements for merchants and cardholders.
